Insect enthusiast unite as four giant illuminated sculptures will crawl into Grand Central for an up close and personal encounter of a different kind.
Featuring a Neon Cuckoo Bee that hums, a Swallowtail Butterfly that knows when you're near, an Australian Jumping Spider and a reactive singing Cicada, the Mini Beasts span up to four metres tall and will be nesting at Grand Central for four weeks.
While these beasts don’t bite, they do react to movement with captivating lights and bright, brilliant colours across their bodies, wings and antennae. These beautiful creatures feature thousands of lights, with 2,800 alone on the Australian Swallowtail Butterfly and 1,500 on the Neon Cuckoo Bee!
To interact with the Mini Beasts all you have to do is approach the sculpture for it to sense that you are close.
So book a table at one of your favourite dining quarter restaurants and watch these amazing beasts come to life. During September we will also have an array of $10 and $20 dining deals for you to enjoy. Click here to see all the amazing deals.
